The Mid Atlantic Golf Tour is a handicapped weekly event open to any amateur who has  an established handicap. The Tour is played from April through October every Wednesday at various private and public golfing venues in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Maryland. A $50 yearly dues assessment is required which allows the player to compete in whatever events the player wants.

Players pay reduced fees at ALL events, sometimes saving $50 or more per round.

Players also pay $20 per week above greens fees which contribute to weekly cash prizes.
 
Competition is played in either one or two flights, depending upon how many players attend each week. The first three or four finishers in each flight receive cash prizes. In addition, there are two closest to the pins during each event. Players accumulate points throughout the year to be eligible for cash prizes for the top finishers.

Handicaps are adjusted weekly according to previous play.
